Residents and supporters of the RGCG are welcome to contact a member of the committee with information on the river, such as the presence of birds of interest, plants and other wildlife, or alien and invasive species which represent a potential threat.
Committee members would also welcome any other observations on the river and also new reflections or knowledge on the past. Suggestions for any activities that the RGCG should be considering adding to their programme.

Other committee members are currently Carl Sayer, a specialist in freshwater algae and plants; Steve Henson of the Norfolk Wildlife Trust; Tony Leech, a botanist; a committee member of the River Glaven Fishing; Jim Crossley; Professor John Woodward; A member of the Environment Agency attends on a regular basis.
The Committee meets every two months. The Committee organise social events, such as walks along parts of the river. In the future it is hoped to expand these as an educational tool in nature conservation, especially for younger people.
Currently the RGCG depends on a Newsletter, issued Spring and Autumn to keep in touch with its members, together with this web site to also enable residents and visitors to share in our aims.
Membership is £5 p.a. Donations are most welcome to help sustain the activities of the RGCG, all carried out by volunteers.
