Field Identification – Mosses and Liverworts

The mosses and liverworts (Bryophytes) may be less conspicuous than the flowering plants, but are as diverse and fascinating. They also play a vital role in many ecosystems and are important conservation indicators. This unit will provide a structured introduction to the group, from first principles through to more advanced techniques. 20 hours of tuition inclusive of evening sessions and field trips.
